Chicago Albany Park Flood 2008
Tuesday, September 16th, 2008Quick update. Although we live in the awesome Chicago neighborhood of Albany park, we were not affected by the flood.
Here is a video shot just north of us. I guess we lucked out buying in a higher elevation area - for those of you not familiar with the flatness of Chicago, higher elevation is a very relevant term. We are talking feet at most.
Well, I was wrong about the olympics… but I was addicted to watching them. Way to go everyone!
