I guess Kaushik and I evened things out as I came out without a date and he came out with two. Luckily for me Veronique was gracious enough to act as my date.

Vernica - we love your place, thank you so much for hosting us… ehh, what I should really say is thank you for letting us completely take over the place. Like a tornado takes over a farm field.

Quick update. Although we live in the awesome Chicago neighborhood of Albany park, we were not affected by the flood.

Here is a video shot just north of us. I guess we lucked out buying in a higher elevation area - for those of you not familiar with the flatness of Chicago, higher elevation is a very relevant term. We are talking feet at most.

Well, I was wrong about the olympics… but I was addicted to watching them. Way to go everyone!
